A few words from Mike Bennie - Halliday Wine Companion
A character-filled white wine of complexity, high drinkability, textural nuance and persistence. Super-fragrant on approach, there's loads of honey, candle wax, ripe pear, rosemary, herbal lift and faint tonic water to sniff on. The palate is slippery but finds grip in the conclusion – a textural feast. There's more pear, waxy-honeyed elements and sweet lemon-ginger tea to taste. Fantastic drinking.
